This Spanish Mission style meets Tuscany inspired residential villa is located at 3655 Cobia Court on Seabrook Island, on lot which is on the opposite side of the street of the ocean facing lot. As such the rear of this home was designed to face that portion of the court and further it was tilted on the lot at such an angle that it aligned with a preserved viewing corridor to the Atlantic Ocean between two existing residences. The rear elevation takes full advantage of these available views with covered arched colonnaded porches and an open stone terrace on the elevated first floor level, and then open viewing terraces and balconies on the second floor level.
This residence is fairly compact in size as it was designed and constructed within fairly tight budget constraints as directed by the owners, but the expanse of added exterior living areas has allowed the homeowners to maximize the space and blur the lines between indoors and outdoors living.
